Heidi Lee.  Abstract Artist.

In 2012 I began to explore abstract painting as a hobby and my interest lead me to participate in art lessons with locally renowned abstract artist Elisabeth Gross-Marks in Ithaca, NY.

I fell in love with the process and realized, during a time of introspection, personal growth and healing, that there was a loving consciousness that seemed eager to connect with me through painting. Unexpectedly, heartache and anger were transmuted into forgiveness as paint hit canvas.

Since then, my interest in a variety of techniques has evolved and  I have successfully participated in collaborative and solo art events in NY and FL.

I gratefully continue to paint through this divine connection as I feel each painting expresses a unique frequency that seems to connect with individuals. Witnessing that connection brings me a great deal of joy.

To immerse myself in the process, stepping out of time and space, transporting myself to alternate places within my being and bringing back what I find in there ... this is what drives me to do what I do.
